Hi Dear Marilyn,
Thank you so much for financially supporting numbers of Afghan families, particularly, the widowed women, the poor young girls and orphan children. Now they can send their children to school and study in a calm and comfortable situation. Your help and cooperation not only provide economical support to the families, but is a huge emotional support too. I see lots of positive changes in the lives of our families and these changes make me hopeful and happy. Farzana is one of our girls in Kabul. At the beginning when we met her, she was ashamed of her poor life compared to the other girls. Her old, torn clothes and sad life made her feel broken down and embarrassed. After our financial help, Sadaf doesn’t have these feeling much and she is more satisfied with her current life. Because of our aid, Deena and Ghazal the two girls in Herat province, go to school and also have sewing machines. Now they financially support their families a little bit. Tamana with her five children lived in a ruined place without a shelter, but with our aid they were able to rent a house and are no longer homeless. Padida and Fahima were leaving their house due to domestic violence. Now they are able to run their lives by themselves and continue their education. Also, the aid reduced Meena’s food concern in the terrible security condition of Konduz. Most of the girls and children had difficulties with their school lessons. We have enrolled them in private courses to solve their school lesson problems. I honesty hope we can continue aid like this and in the future involve more families in our programs.
Once again, thank you so much dear Marilyn and Zari for your humanitarian efforts.
